A variable to select the user interface language (forms, dialogs, ... about 350 messages, headers, date and time format, ...).

:[[display][variable=WikiLanguage]]

Currently supported language abbreviations:

* en (or 0) = English (default)
* de (or 1) = German
* fr (or 2) = French
* es (or 3) = Spanish

Languages supported by translation maps (see ProWikiTranslations):

* ru = Russian
* hu = Hungarian
* ja = Japanese

The language can be defined in the ConfigurationFile or in any ContextPage. WikiCommands may contain the parameter "lang=code":

Examples:
* ThisWiki:action=rc&lang=de
* ThisWiki:action=index&lang=es
* ThisWiki:action=editprefs&lang=fr

If a single wiki is meant to support multiple languages, then the labels of the link bars should be defined in a multilingual way (using "|" as a separator):
